"Eat With Your Eyes" is a holistic culinary concept. Yuki's tableware designs are based on her imagination of how you will use her pottery to complement the culinary art experience you create at home. After over 12 years of pottery journey, she recently started “Eat With Your Eyes Pottery” (wabi sabi style) and "SF Made Pottery" (modern) lines to devote her passion for a holistic culinary concept that lifts up your senses.
Growing up in Japan, Yuki has always been fascinated by the sense of genuine, natural, imperfect beauty that is situated in quietness/serenity. Working with clay gives her that space of peace and a state of “mu” 無 (quiet emptiness), and she hopes you will sense that through her pottery.
I love working with people to design tableware and decorative from restaurants, retail stores, to individual homes. I recently worked with a chef to produce unique dishes specific to the food designs (sushi plates, dessert palette dishes, poke bowls, etc.). I also love designing tableware sets and every-day mugs/tumblers to match your home decor and culinary styles!
